Indonesian Folklore: Malin Kundang

Malin Kundang Project is a two-dimensional silhouette animation based on Indonesian folktale from West Sumatra. This animation tells a story about the retribution on an ungrateful son, Malin Kundang whom is cursed into a stone. This is a simplification form of the whole story of Malin Kundang folklore as it targeted to kids as the audience. The approach of this animation is referring to wayang shadow puppet show where a narrator tells a story with a puppet as the medium for the story.
